Feb 1 Donna + Gary | Lucky Spur Ranch

After 35 years of sweet, sweet marriage, Donna and Gary renewed their vows at Lucky Spur Ranch in front of friends and family. Though the affair was simple, it was clear that love was in the air, such a beautiful thing to celebrate after an already long and successful marriage!

Donna rocked two AMAZING pairs of boots for the occasion. The first, a bridal-white over-the-knee boot was worn for the couple’s ceremony, along with a little black dress. The white roses in her bouquet tied it all together, plus the loving vows from her husband!

The second pair of boots, a pair of over-the-knee black boots with gun-metal silver details, were there to kick up some fun on the dance floor! Donna wore a bedazzled little black dress for the reception portion of the evening.

And Gary was styled classy in a blue plaid jacket, waistcoat, white shirt, and gold tie. But perhaps his greatest accessory was his classic car, a highlight for both the bride and groom AND the photographer!

A live band entertained the guests for the reception, along with some classic Texas beverage brands. And if you weren’t there to enjoy the donuts, feast your eyes on the delectable bites, enjoyed by all, below!

The romance of a vow renewal is evident to all. It’s a public declaration that a couple is willing to make the same promises over and over in their marriage, even after many years and (undoubtedly) many adventures! It was a pleasure to be there to photograph this special event for Donna and Gary.

And did y’all know that the bride and groom were off to their FIRST honeymoon after this magical evening? Sweet Gary had been waiting 35 years to take his lovely wife on a proper honeymoon. I love that they made that a priority! And here’s to 35 more years ahead!
