Cody and Liz sure know how to have a good ol’ time and made sure all of their guests did too on their wedding day! The day was full of surprises, from a mock jewelry heist during the ceremony (luckily thwarted by the Flower Girl Squad), to a father-of-the-bride speech that included a classic “you better be good to my baby girl…or else” moment followed by 10 gentlemen standing up brandishing (toy) guns to make their point. We may have just stepped back in time to the wild, wild west y’all! And I am here for it!
In all seriousness, these two Flower Mound PD sweethearts were clearly starting their life as man and wife surrounded by many loving and supportive people. The groomsmen, looking dapper in navy suits, burgundy ties, and a tie bar (gifted by the groom), were there to help their leading man squash any nerves. And the bridesmaids, looking stunning in a variety of floor-length-burgundy gowns, were happy to help their leading lady with a quick shot before a walk down the aisle.
As for our bride, Liz looked absolutely GORGEOUS in her bridal gown, complete with long, lacy sleeves, a sweetheart neckline, and floral lace trailing all the way down to the simple train behind. The groom was definitely taken aback seeing her walking down the aisle!
And before I mention the epic party, I MUST address the floral display…on the donkeys. Those guys were just about as sweet as they get and happy to pose with the bride and groom on their big day!
But once the formalities were complete, there’s no doubt that Cody and Liz were well and truly celebrated that evening. And in case that wasn’t enough to send their marriage off on a high note, they took to the sky, literally! A helicopter took the Mr. and Mrs. on a “just married” ride to remember.
