Jul 8 Sydney + Jack | The French Farmhouse

Sydney + Jack are MARRIED!!!

This was one for the books… personally speaking, I had been looking forward to this wedding for what seemed like forever.

I originally met Sydney, our stunning bride at her sister’s wedding way back in 2017. Truly an amazing compliment when families come back to me. So after chatting on the phone with Jack + Sydney at their initial consult, I was truly just giddy about all the details planned for their wedding day… yes I still get giddy about weddings! #WarmFuzzies

Everything about Jack & Sydney’s wedding was beautifully intentional. They planned out all the details that meant the most to them. Had all their closest friends and family by their side and I was all for it. I love when couples can step back from all the craziness planning a wedding can sometimes bring, and just enjoy this brief moment in their relationship. It goes by in such a whirl.

Their wedding day gifts to one another and the fact that they included the cutest & furriest member of their family in their ceremony were some of my fave moments of the day!

The French Farmhouse venue just outside of Denton offered an absolutely stunning backdrop for Jack & Sydney’s perfect day! Having already photographed Sydney’s bridal portraits here- we knew all the best spots and I couldn’t wait to get that sun setting behind the venue come wedding day!

With Kendyl Martin at the helm- one of our fave planners and owner of Everything Bridal Events - the day was simply perfection. Kendyl ushered our couple, along with their prospective parties into the chapel, which happened to be tucked away just enough to be the most perfectly romantic spot on the property

Also…as a professional light connoisseur, I must mention how fantastically well-lit the chapel was!

After the vows were made and a most memorable first kiss as husband and wife, the newlyweds were off to celebrate in style… which included a beautiful first dance, a sweet father/daughter dance, and a fun planned-out mother/son dance PLUS cheer, cake cutting and more! Check out the pics below!

The evening carried on with the always awesome DJ Michael Blake keeping the dance floor hot all night long! And as they say, all good things must come to an end, the night ended with a slow song and a sweet send-off!!

Sydney + Jack's advice for the day

Sydney- “Enjoy the day & trust your vendors. You’ve worked so hard to make the day happen & your vendors will give their all to protect your vision”

Jack- “If you haven’t helped plan it, don’t worry about controlling it. Control what you can & help the day of.”
