Lauren | Grapevine Botanical Gardens Bridals

Eeek! Lauren is a married woman y’all! But before her big and beautiful day, I had the distinct honor of photographing her when she was just a bride-to-be. She looked GORGEOUS at one of my favorite spots for snapping these memories: the Grapevine Botanical Gardens.

Lauren’s makeup highlighted her beautiful smile so nicely with plum-colored lips, tan rouge, and the perfect brow. I loved how the lips worked with her over-the-top STUNNING bouquet, picking up the dark tones nicely amidst the pops of oranges and soft pinks. The loose hand-tied bouquet gave just the right feeling of “I just picked these” here at the gardens to add to the romance of the setting.

The bride’s dress also stunned with a plunging neckline, deep-v back, and classic floral lace embroidery covering the form-fit bodice and trickling down the loose and flowing skirts. And y’all, have you SEEN this train? It’s as big and beautiful as the great state of Texas and fit for a Texan princess like little miss Lauren. It was so fun to photograph it trailing behind our bride along the perfectly manicured walking paths at the garden, and again, next to Lauren spread amongst a rounded-garden bench.

But I bet y’all noticed something special in these photos that may have been hard for the attendees at the nuptials to catch: the bride had TWO awesome pairs of shoes. One strappy “something blue” pair, for good luck on the big day; a second bedazzled pointed-toe booty fit for the Country Hall of Fame. Wise choices Lauren! You never know when you’ll need a shoe change, and a bride must be comfortable on her big day (or at least try while wearing the most important gown of her life).
