Britney | Ranch bridals

Before her memorable wedding to her wonderful new husband, Britney and I snuck off to the ranch for some beautiful bridal shots! From the cheerful sunflower fields to the prickly cactus garden, the bride-to-be stole all the attention for herself!

Dressed in her bridal gown and shoulder-length veil, Britney was a dream to photograph! Her dress had a sweetheart neckline with thin straps. The gown had a form fit through the hips. It was a perfect backdrop to her simple bouquet of white florals and green accents!

The now wife showed off her strappy sandal heels in one photo and a beautiful smile in another photo! In most, she was the image of the perfectly-patient bride in waiting. I loved how the trees at the ranch made a canopy of green behind her, like a picture frame from the heavens! The dappled greens mirrored her natural bouquet in such a wonderful way.

Her train was on full display as well. The sun-yellowed grasses (and boy did we get some sun in Texas this year!) were the backdrop for the train’s loosely flowing edges behind the beautiful Britney. And her dress had delicate embroidered floral lace overlay, from the bodice to the ends of the train, adding a touch of romance and classical design to her loveliness!

And though the dudes were not present at this ranch, this girl knew how to be at home in the setting! The old pink and gray paint-peeling barn behind our bride in some of the photos happened to perfectly match her pale pink lips!

You’re a married woman now, Britney, but I hope that these photos remind you (and your husband) of such a sweet time in your lives! The days leading up to the wedding are often rushed and difficult to remember, but we took a moment to stand still here and breathe it in. Thank you for the opportunity to photograph this for you!
