Aug 12 Lindsey + Michael | Sparrow on Main

Y’all, have you heard? Sparrow on Main is officially open for hosting gorgeous events at their new (old) space in my neighborhood, Old Town Lewisville. And did you hear who got to be the lucky first couple to tie the knot at this restored 1920s auto dealership? That’s right, it was Lindsey and Michael, and I had the pleasure of photographing this historic event and oh-so-sweet wedding!

The Ciaccio’s were wed surrounded by family and friends, including Lindsey’s beautiful five children (and now Michael’s!). Colorful florals and butterflies decorated the walls, the cake, and even the bride’s gorgeously braided hair. Lindsey had a sweetheart neckline with a delicately embroidered floral bodice and soft flowing skirt. Her girls wore blush pink (and the adorable flower girls had floral crowns!), and her boys looked dapper as can be with blush bowties and suspenders.

The groom wore a navy suit with a casual open collar and the biggest smile a man can have. A sand ceremony involving the bride and groom and their children symbolized the coming together of this family in such a magical way. It was a privilege to witness and photograph this lovely event!

I did convince the couple to snap some photos in one of my favorite spots nearby: Wayne Ferguson Plaza. And they did not disappoint! I love how this new venue so seamlessly ties into all that Old Town Lewisville had to offer, and the send-off photo at the end of the night on the brick sidewalk might be a new favorite location!

Congratulations to the Ciaccio family on coming together in such a beautiful way and the support you have of your community. I see many big smiles and sweet memories ahead for y’all!

And to the gals who made Sparrow on Main a reality: you did it! Welcome to the Old Town Lewisville community! Here’s to many events in our future!
