Katie + Kristopher | Hidden Pines Highland Village
Katie and Kristopher sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G, first comes love, then comes….oh, you know how it goes. These two just made it to MARRIAGE y’all! They tied the knot at the beautiful Hidden Pines venue in Highland Village on a gorgeous Texas day in early June. The bridesmaids wore a stunning shade of icy blue while the groom and groomsmen complemented them in navy suits. They were surrounded by an intimate gathering of family and friends for their ceremony and celebratory reception after!
The bride was so thoughtful in so many elements of the evening (I’m giving this shout out to Katie, Kristopher!). From a personal note to her father on the back of his necktie, to table markers featuring the bride and groom at the same age as the table number itself, personal love and attention was apparent in every little thing. I loved taking photos of the details to help keep the memory alive!
As the reception warmed up, the dancers did too. I may have taken a few turns on the dance floor with Katie’s grandma (rumored to be in her 80s, but I’ll believe it when I see the proof). I think we can all only hope to be kickin’ up our boots like that at weddings in our future!
The photo-shy groom even let me snap more pictures than you can shake a stick at, and that’s all a photographer (or bride) can ask for! From the first look to the private last dance, I was able to capture many special moments of the newlyweds.
All in all, the event was about as perfect as can be, thanks in many parts to the vendors listed below and the wonderful planning of the bride! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. McGinnis. You do know what comes next in that previously mentioned school rhyme, right?
