It was a magical day at Lucky Spur Ranch when Hannah and Wes got MARRIED y’all! From a memorable first look to an enchanting exit, I had so much fun taking photos of these two and their blast of loved ones. Just look at how many photos I got of the boys! I couldn’t help myself…they made me smile! And seeing the wedding party and family members join in a minute into their first dance (“You and Me” by Lifehouse, for the record) was SUCH a sweet moment.
But there might be a photo in here that you find…unexpected. Yep, the bride was so thoughtful, she even brought an extra bouquet for the cows to munch on. I think if this wedding were truly set in the wizarding world, Hagrid would undoubtedly be proud of that move!
The combination of rustic elements and Harry Potter-themed details were fun for all. I loved the red tones in the florals and the backdrop lit up with string lights in the reception hall. And everything from Harry Potter pages on the tables to the themed dessert bar set the mood for the guests.
And let’s talk about the bride and groom for a minute here. Hannah’s dress was STUNNING. It had a classic look to it, that lent to the theme of the evening, with an embroidered overlay. Matched with a simple veil, she looked so beautiful…some might even say she was GLOWING.
And Wes, oh Wes. Such a fun guy with SUCH a sweet heart! He surprised himself by “crying a lot” (in his words), but let me let you in on a secret Wes: real men DO cry! I’m sure you re-won your sweetheart’s heart all over again.
To top off all of this sweetness, these two are embarking on their next adventure: a baby on the way! Congratulations Johnson family! I’m so happy I was part of one of your momentous life events!
