Dec 8 Mikayla + Michael | Lucky Spur Ranch, Justin Texas

Mikayla and Michael, Michael and Mikayla, however, y’all want to say it, ARE MARRIED y’all! Let’s give a rowdy hoot and holler to these two (not unlike their groomsmen and bridal party did on the big day)!

These two lovebirds tied the knot at Lucky Spur Ranch, one of my favorite venues for “rustic chic” weddings, like the couple was aiming for. And boy, did they capture it! The groom was giving off Johnny Cash vibes, all in black. And the bride wowed the groom, and her loving friends and family, in a stunner of a gown. Just take a look at the bridal party’s faces for proof!

From a deep v-neck embroidered bodice, complete with long lace sleeves and a covered button back, to an extra-long lace embroidered train, Mikayla could easily have been the classic counterpart to her Mr. Cash. I loved her simple touch of a pearl necklace and how her long hair fell naturally with just a simple braided crown.

And “hello, bouquet!” I loved how the white blooms were balanced with deep reds and tiny pops of dusty blue. The blue florals reflected the bridal party’s dusty blue dresses and bow ties, all styled to suit the wearer.

But come on, y’all. The daddy-daughter images might just take the cake. I mean, those donkeys were pretty cute too, but seriously, nothing beats an excellent daddy-daughter moment. Mikayla and her dad were so sweet together. And the little ones took note and took the sweetest images themselves! I loved that little ring bearer and flower girl!

Michael and Mikayla both agreed: the after-party was the most anticipated part of the day. Every couple loves being able to kick back and enjoy the moment a bit after the whirlwind of a ceremony. But as these two can attest, it goes by in two shakes of a lamb’s tail. I hope these photos help make the memories last!
