Nov 28 Ainslee | Bridals at The Lounge in Old Town Lewisville

From her satin-pointed-toed heels to her classic veil, with embroidered lace details along the base, Ainslee was a bride to behold! I loved getting the opportunity to photograph her in my hometown of Old Town Lewisville before her big day.

She looked absolutely gorgeous in the moody setting: The Lounge. Traditionally used for hosting small private events, I love using The Lounge for a private portrait session. Her bridal gown had lovely off the shoulder straps, an embroidered lace bodice, and a gently-pleated full skirt, lending a romantic feel that fit the setting beautifully.

The scalloped lace edge of the train was also perfect to show off against a dark background. And her bridal bouquet in pinks and violets lent a softer touch to the scene with its surprising pops of color. With dark walls, antiques, and furnishings, but nice natural light coming in from the big garage door windows, our girl really popped in the images (though of course, she would have been the center of attention in any setting)!

And out in Wayne Ferguson Plaza, we found fall weather! I LOVED the sultry expression between the veil and bouquet…the wind was really working for us. Those big brown eyes are on full display! You looked awesome Ainslee!

Our trees here are always so fun to have as a backdrop throughout the year too. The deep green with a burgundy red coming out in the leaves matched the mood we had just captured in The Lounge. The dress with the fall backdrop also felt straight out of a fairytale.

Your new husband is a lucky man, Ainslee! Thank you for trusting me with such important photos and important memories in y’alls’ lives! I’m sure Lucas will cherish these photos of his stunning new wife forever!
