A late-summer romantic engagement session for the win!!
We had all the wonderful bold colors of late summer with just a hint that the warmer season is slowly winding down for Whitney + Heath's ranch-style engagements! I absolutely loved photographing these two!!
I am not sure exactly sure how long I’ve known Heath but it’s been a while! I’ve actually had him in front of the camera several other times over the years from candids at Western Days to his real estate headshots at The Mill St. House & Repeat Realty, to a slightly more formal setting at our home church- Northview Baptist in Old Town Lewisville. He’s definitely not a wallflower but I really loved seeing him interact with Whitney- very different from all the past photos I’ve taken of him over the years. At the risk of getting all mushy over here - it was super romantic and made this photographer’s heart very happy to document!
I was really happy when I heard that he had proposed to Whitney…finally! ;) Haha! and I was obviously super stoked when he reached out to me to photograph this amazing time in their lives. I love being there for my people and these two are definitely my people. They are the kind of people that if you need them, they will be there - no questions.
The other amazing part of their wedding to me is that they are having the ceremony at our home church! There is something so special about that for me! I know, with Heath’s father being our church pastor it will be special for them too!
January 2022 can’t get here soon enough!!
