Hannah + Wes | Engaged

If you have followed along the last decade or so then you know when clients ask if it’s okay for them to bring their dogs to their photoshoots, the answer is ALWAYS a resounding YES!! I love that Hannah + Wes included their sweet baby girl Dany- short for Daenerys Targaryen for all you GOT fans- in their engagement portraits.

I met Hannah + Wes at Lucky Spur Ranch in Justin, Texas. This venue will host super fun open houses showing off their amazing ranch and (in my opinion) the best dang chef you’ll ever meet at a wedding! Their food is the best in the biz y’all.. southern women’s solum truth there!! 

Lucky Spur is getting bigger every year for sure- but I also love that they are one of those little hidden gems still. The staff at LSR is the epitome of Southern Hospitality- always going above and beyond for their guests. I love getting to work with them and am so grateful to them for hosting their open houses and introducing me to some amazing people!! 

This time of year we have so many great spots for photos here in North Texas. The leaves are just starting to turn, so we still have lots of great lush spots with the hint that our Fall season is just around the corner. It will be here before we know it for sure! 

We had so much fun, just hanging out and even saying a little Riddikulus spell to make photo taking not so bad! For all you muggles out there… a Riddikulus spell transforms nasty Boggarts from something scary into something silly!! See also… Bendt Distilling Co. special blended elixir!
