Jacky + Caden | Engaged; Bella Cavalli Events, North Texas

Some sessions just feel a little extra special, and Caden and Jacky’s engagement session was definitely one of those evenings.

I’ve known Caden for years now, since photographing his senior portraits. Watching these seniors grow up and step into the next chapters of their lives is one of the greatest joys of what I get to do. It’s one of the things I love most about being a local photographer — these aren’t just clients, they’re people whose stories I’ve had the privilege of witnessing over time.

Caden has also been part of my Northview Baptist Church family, which makes it even more meaningful. His sweet mama is one of my absolute favorite people, and families like theirs are such a blessing to our community. When you know someone through church, through family, through all the little moments that make up life in a close-knit town, celebrating big milestones like this just hits a little differently.

When Caden and Jacky asked me to photograph their wedding, I truly felt honored. There’s something really special about being trusted to document such an important day — especially when it’s for people you care about.

Their engagement session was full of laughter, sweet moments, and that easy kind of joy that tells you these two just fit together. You can see it in the way they look at each other and in how comfortable they are simply being side by side.

This summer, they’ll say “I do” at Bella Cavalli Events in Aubrey with Gardenias Wedding Planning at the helm, and I already know it’s going to be such a beautiful day surrounded by family, friends, and lots of love.
