Katelyn & Zach said “I do” at the always-beautiful Nest at Ruth Farms, and it was one of those weddings that just felt like home. With so many of our Northview Baptist & Lewisville Fire family there— it was such a joy to celebrate with people I adore. Pastor Kenneth Wells led the ceremony with his usual heart and truth, and I’ll be honest… even behind the lens, I had tears in my eyes.

The Nest itself was the perfect backdrop—white walls glowing in the afternoon light and the prettiest grounds for those golden hour portraits. Add in the magic of Coco Fleur Events’ florals, the sweetest blend of soft and bold blooms, and it was pure romance everywhere you looked.

After vows were exchanged, guests enjoyed the most delicious meal by LS Catering (truly the best food in DFW—I’ll stand by that any day!) and drinks served up by Shaker Bar & Beverage. The dance floor stayed packed thanks to DJ Connection, who kept the energy high all night long. And when it was time for cake—Linnybird Bakeshop delivered a showstopper that tasted every bit as good as it looked.

Every detail was thought through, from the stunning stationery by Beautiful Wedding Announcements to the flawless hair and makeup by Tease to Please. Shannon with Integrity Events & Design was the calm in the storm, tying everything together and keeping the day stress-free. And y’all know I can’t do what I do without my right hand, Jenna—she’s truly the MVP, making sure every little moment gets captured.

One of the most powerful moments came at the very end, when Katelyn & Zach drove off in Zach’s late father’s Division Chief training vehicle. My husband once served alongside his dad in the fire service, and watching that truck carry them into their new life was a tribute that touched every heart.

It was a day stitched together by family, faith, and one unforgettable love story. Katelyn & Zach, thank you for letting me capture it all. 🤍
